Now is the time to be proactive
The coronavirus is affecting businesses of all sizes all over the world. Fewer people are travelling, in-store traffic is down, and events of all kinds are being cancelled.
However, there are steps you can take to improve and expand your digital presence that may help mitigate the fallout in this challenging time.
Prepare for more online transactions
- As physical visits to shops and business locations decline, a strong eCommerce solution provides an additional source of revenue
- We can create an eCommerce presence for you with an online store or an online ordering solution for restaurants that customers can access through your website, Facebook page and more
Prepare your website
- Display pop-up messaging on your homepage about any service changes - find out more
- Add features for scheduling (or rescheduling) in-person appointments
- Add online payment and online transaction capabilities to existing websites - find out more
Create more digital content
Since you may not see your customers in-person as much, it’s important to remind them you’re still around and ready for their business. You create a variety of materials that will keep you front of mind with your customers, including:
- Blog posts
- Update videos
- Newsletters
- Webinars
Engage more on social media
During an ongoing event like coronavirus, social media is one of your best tools for keeping your customers updated with the latest news from your business.
Through social media monitoring you may also pick up on unique opportunities your business has to accommodate your customers’ needs during this challenging time.
Consider Larger Projects
If you’ve recently thought about large scale changes to your website or online presence, now may be the ideal time to make them. This way when customers are ready to return, your digital presence is fresh and ready to convert more customers than ever.
Key Project Ideas:
- Website redesign
- SEO improvements
- Security, accessibility & privacy
Keep up your profile
To maintain a profile for your customers and the search engines, it's important to keep your website live. If your site is taken down Google will see broken links (Google doesn't like broken links), it will take months for the SEO to recover and your position on the search engine may never be same.

Jack and his two brothers-in-law are taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for LATCH Children's Cancer Charity! ( www.latchwales.org ) The cause is incredibly close to his family's heart as his nephew, Joey, Romano’s little boy, was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer aged one years old, just as the COVID-19 pandemic began. It was a helpless time for Jack and his family, unable to offer any support in person whilst Joey was going through treatment, but charities like LATCH provided incredible support when nobody else could. Thankfully, Joey is in full recovery now, although he still undergoes many scans. Now they would love to give back and help ensure LATCH can continue to help other families in need so on 30th August they have decided to walk the three highest peaks in the UK to raise money for LATCH. They are funding the trip themselves so any donations you can make to Latch to help make a difference would be amazing! Just click the link below to donate.
