GETTING STARTED
5 questions in this section
What happens after I request a quote?
We start with a conversation, by phone, video, or in person, to understand your business, audience and website goals. Next, we provide a free, no-obligation proposal with a fixed price and realistic timeline. Once approved, our team creates two design concepts, offering unlimited revisions until you are completely satisfied. Finally, we manage the build, content, and testing phases, followed by full system training before taking your site live.
How much does a website cost?
Every website is priced individually based on the number of pages and the features required, but our pricing is transparent and fixed from the start. Packages begin at £899 for a professionally designed brochure site, with e-commerce and membership sites from £2,399. You can get an instant estimate using our cost calculator, and we always provide a full written proposal before any work begins.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. We agree a fixed price upfront and commit to it in writing before we start. Additional costs only ever arise if you request changes outside the original scope, such as extra pages or new functionality added mid-project, and even then we discuss and agree any cost with you before proceeding. After launch, annual hosting and maintenance fees apply and are clearly set out from the beginning.
How long does it take to build a website?
This depends on the size and complexity of your project and on how quickly content is available. A straightforward brochure site typically takes four to six weeks from approval to launch. Larger or more complex projects take longer. We set a realistic timeline in every proposal and stick to it.
What payment options do you offer?
We offer two flexible options. You can pay in three milestone-based instalments: 50% to get started, 25% when the site is built and ready for content, and 25% on completion. Alternatively, you can spread the cost over 12 equal monthly payments with no deposit required and nothing to pay upfront. Monthly plans do not qualify for online discounts. Both options are followed by annual hosting, maintenance and support fees.

DESIGN & BUIlD
5 questions in this section
Will I own my finished website?
Yes, without question. The finished website belongs to you. If you ever choose to move to another provider, it can be transferred without difficulty and without losing any of your content.
Can you build e-commerce websites?
Yes. We design and build bespoke online shops with integration for all major payment providers, full stock management, customer accounts, discounts, and much more. Our e-commerce packages start from £2,399 and are designed to grow with your business, whether you are selling ten products or ten thousand.
I already have a website. Can you redesign it?
Absolutely. We work with businesses at every stage, including those ready to replace an outdated or underperforming site. Get in touch for a free, no-obligation conversation and we will give you our honest assessment of what would make the biggest difference.
Do you outsource any of your work?
No. Everything is handled in-house by our team in Bristol and Pontypridd. This gives us complete control over quality and means you have a single point of contact from start to finish.
What if Website Sorted closes down?
It is a fair question. Many of our clients have come to us precisely because a previous agency closed without warning. Unlike some platforms that lock you in, your website is built on a standard system that can be transferred to another provider without losing your content or starting from scratch. Your site belongs to you, and we will never hold you hostage to our continued existence.

HOSTING, DOMAINS & EMAIL
4 questions in this section
What is web hosting and do I need it?
Web hosting is the service that keeps your website online, the server space your site lives on. Yes, you need it. We provide reliable, managed hosting for all of our clients, which means your site is maintained by the same team that built it, with one point of contact for everything.
Will I get email addresses for my domain?
Website hosting packages do not automatically include email addresses, but you can add this service as an optional extra (e.g. yourname@mydomain.co.uk).
How quickly will my hosting be set up?
Hosting and email are typically activated within 24 hours of your domain being in place. Occasional short delays can occur depending on domain access, but these are rare and we keep you informed every step of the way.
What is a domain name and how do I get one?
Your domain name is your website address for example, websitesorted.com. We will check whether your preferred name is available, register it on your behalf, and ensure you are the registered owner. If your first choice is already taken, we will help you identify a strong, credible alternative.

MANAGING YOUR CONTENT
2 questions in this section
What is a content management system (CMS)?
A content management system is a tool that lets you update your website yourself, adding new pages, changing text, swapping images, managing products, or publishing news, without any technical knowledge. We include CMS access in most of our packages and provide thorough training before handover.
Do I need technical skills to use the CMS?
None at all. If you can write an email, you can use our CMS. It is browser-based, intuitive, and designed for everyday use by non-technical people. We provide clear training before handover and ongoing support so you are never left stuck.
